COATECH Uses Materials Which Approved By UL Standards

UL standard deals with the resistance of products to flammability and various aspects of environmental and personal safety in the context of materials quality. This standard includes over than 1000 different standards that have proven to be very important for proper work, maintaining the safety and security of people, the environment and improving the quality of materials.

Underwriters Laboratories Inc – UL, is over than 100-year-old company in the United States that develops standards for product safety and provides consulting, testing, auditing, and other services. UL is one of several companies approved by the OSHA-Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

UL STANDARDS 746E

The world's leading standards in the field of products safety in the manufacture of electronic products. With regard to conforming coating, this standard consists of two parts: Electrical Safety and Flammability (UL9).

The electrical safety tests are carried out on test coupons coated with materials applied at the minimum thickness and at the maximum temperature conditions recommended by the manufacturer. This test is intended to test the dielectric strength of the material and its resistance to voltage spikes and dielectric breakdown that will lead to damage to the electronic circuits.

The flammability tests are carried out on test coupons coated with materials applied at the maximum thickness recommended by the manufacturer, and are intended to test the resistance of the material against Flammability.

All PCB's types of protections:

Preventing: Corrosion, Rust, Fungus, Disintegration Of Solder and Components, Disconnections,
Tin Whiskers.
PCB's protection for extreme work conditions.
